I'm sure several people looked at my car and either inwardly or outwardly cursed my driving.I didn't have the luxury of vocalizing my frustrations too colorfully, but Keira picked up on who caused me angst.
It seems whenever it rains or snows people forget how to drive. Either they are overly cautious or think they can drive as normal. The former just make me crazy. The latter usually cause accidents with the former.
Admittedly, I will drive toward the normal end of the spectrum in snow and rain. I would like to think by virtue of learning to drive just off of Lake Michigan that the paltry effort Mother Nature put forth was not worth many calories on my part.
Sadly, I had to contend with everyone else.
Either, I was completely snarled in traffic. Where I was still moving faster than a cab in New York City but at a snail's pace by Midwest standards. Or! There was no traffic because the road was closed. More specifically, the expressways cutting through town. Here is an officer making sure that there isn't any merging traffic.
What is normally a 45 minute commute turned into just shy of 2 hours. It was practically lunch by the time I got there.
Which was actually kinda nice...

I would like to thank the BRRG ladies for linking my post about the bout to their forum. Especially to Death Proof and Mosh Spice for not making me register so I could see how they had my link posted on their forum.
